Best Business Ideas for a Beginner in 2011

2011 will bring new opportunities for low cost business ideas and small business start ups. What are some of your best business ideas for a beginner in 2011? If you were going to start a new business in 2011 what one would you start and why?

Often times fads and trendy business ideas motivate new start ups that never really produce much income and often times leave new entrepreneurs dumbfounded and in debt. So how do you pick the best business idea to start?

Over the years I've started several businesses and expanded many of the same. I do some stuff online and I've learned a TON about picking the best business ideas to invest time and money in and the ones that need to prove themselves before they'll captivate my time, attentions and start up capital.

It's easy to look at the upside when starting a business. But for a beginner looking to start a low cost first time business the down side is probably a more crucial area to be looking at. My advice to choosing the best business idea for a beginner in 2011 is to start a lowcost business idea that has very little downside, which also means very little risk.

Low cost online business ideas often cost nothing to start and can begin with starting a blog or creating other content. Affiliate marketing strategies that don't cost any money are plentiful and when investing some money in a start up it is usually best spent in solid education. There are some great programs to make money with a blog, I've written several posts about them on my network of small business idea blogs. Share some of your thoughts on the best business ideas for 2011.

  2. Excellent post, Before you even look for suitable business ideas and opportunities you should determine how much of money you have to invest or whether or not you can attract finance through potential investors. You should also look at your borrowing power and the equity you have to put down as collateral when borrowing funds. Thanks for sharing.
